INTERCONNECTIONS: EXHIBITION OF WOVEN TAPESTRY ART
6.30pm, (Opening) The Core, Church St.
A unique exhibition bringing together National and Scottish award wining weavers. Frances Crowe and internationally renowned tapestry artist Joan Baxter collaborate to curate this exhibition which will prove to be very exciting, especially for lovers of handwoven tapestries. Launch performed by guest speaker Ms. Theresa Mc Kenna NCAD.

THANKSGIVING FOR THE FLOCKS OF THE FIELD
8pm, St. Coman’s Church of Ireland
An ecumenical service of thanksgiving for, and blessing on, the flocks of sheep of the county. On this first night of our Lamb Festival we will be acknowledging God as the creator and sustainer of all life and give thanks for all creatures - great and small. Everyone welcome (about 1 hour).
